Meet Will !

Life has a way of showing us who we are before we even realize it. In 2020, my world was flipped upside down. The pandemic changed everything, but so did some of the most joyful moments of my life: I married the most wonderful person I have ever met on Valentine’s Day and moved 1,000 miles to build a life together. That same year, I left a career that no longer fulfilled me and began asking a simple yet profound question: What do I want my life to be like?
My journey to this point has been anything but easy. I grew up in a broken family, experienced abuse, faced homelessness, and lost my child through family court proceedings. I worked myself through a bachelor’s and master’s degree, only to burn out in a career that left me feeling empty. Through it all, I learned hard lessons about resilience, love, and surrender. I realized that real support, real love, and true guidance were only possible through a relationship with Jesus Christ. From that realization came a desire to help others navigate the hardships of life with intentionality, humility, and hope.

My Philosophy
I believe that change is inevitable, but how we change is determined by what we allow and how intentional we are with our choices. Relationships break down when people give up or refuse to take responsibility for their part in the dynamic. Love is more than a feeling—it is a daily choice expressed through patience, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Families thrive when they learn to communicate differently, parents adapt to their children’s needs, and individuals take ownership of their growth.
Faith and spirituality, when present in a person’s life, shape their morals, values, worldview, and relationships. I honor that influence in therapy while respecting each client’s unique perspective. You do not need to share my beliefs to experience transformation, but if faith is part of your life, we can explore how it intersects with your growth.

My Approach
I take a warm and direct approach, balancing support with challenge. I am a great listener who helps clients explore their thoughts, feelings, and actions in a practical way that leads to meaningful change. I work with individuals, couples, and families to identify patterns, uncover assumptions, and implement strategies that produce better outcomes.
I specialize in helping:
Couples & Marriage: Constant arguing, communication breakdown, emotional distance, trust issues, intimacy struggles, and couples seeking to repair their bond.
Families: Parent–child conflict, blended family tension, discipline struggles, disconnection, and learning effective communication strategies.
Children: Emotional regulation, anxiety, behavior problems, social struggles, ADHD symptoms, depression, sibling conflict, school or home misconduct, and family transition stress.
I am relentless in supporting clients who are ready to change. I will not give up on you, I will challenge and guide you, and I will connect you with resources that can best meet your needs—even if that means referring you elsewhere.

“Changing the memories that form the way we see ourselves also changes the way we view others. Therefore, our relationships, job performance, what we are willing to do or are able to resist, all move in a positive direction.”

EMDR Therapy Consultation
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapeutic approach that helps individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences and distressing memories. It uses bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements, to help the brain reprocess these experiences, reducing emotional distress and fostering adaptive resolution. EMDR is effective for addressing trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and other mental health challenges.

Will is currently under consultation with EMDR Restorative Consulting, LLC, where he is undergoing training and supervision as part of the journey toward full EMDRIA certification. This structured process ensures that he adhere to the highest standards of practice while developing expertise in utilizing EMDR to help clients heal and grow effectively.
